CHELSEA HOPE FOR LUKAKU

Chelsea striker Diego Costa is set to exit the team for Romelu Lukaku to rejoin, according to reports. The 28-year old Spaniard had an altercation with Antonio Conte so he is poised to exit anytime soon. Sorting out the deal for the former Atletico Madrid star would clear the path for Lukaku’s arrival from Everton.

However, there have been stronger ties to Manchester United of recent as reps of the player hint at a preference for a move to Old Trafford rather than rejoining the ranks at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are also struggling to nail down their other targets for the summer. The club insists they can pay £60 million for 26-year old left back Alex Sandro. However, the Italian side seem to have prevailed on the Brazilian to spend at least one more season. The deal is far from conclusion for now.

Manchester City are the ones that are better poised to complete the signing of Benjamin Mendy from Monaco. Pep Guardiola is focused on getting his targets ahead of the pre-season training. The 22-year old is one of the hottest prospects for his role in the whole of Europe. The left back is set to move from the Ligue 1 champions to the Etihad in the next few weeks.

For Arsenal as they are clear to join Alexandre Lacazette and Riyad Mahrez, there have been links to Sporting Lisbon duo William Carvalho and Gelson Martins. The players could cost the Gunners £70 million to complete. As the numerous players remain linked to the Emirates, others are reportedly leaving soon.

Reports in England say Hector Bellerin wants to return to Barcelona after previously rebuffing the former La Liga champs. Sergi Roberto have played in the left back role since the exit of Dani Alves. Bellerin is one of the best in the role so the Nou Camp want him. The Spaniard seems frustrated at happenings at the North London side so he wants to move back to his roots.
