Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has revealed that Paul Pogba is clearly happy in the training ground when compared to earlier in the season. The France international was in-and-out of the starting lineup when Jose Mourinho was at the helm of things and there had been a point where he was linked with a potential departure after a bust-up with the manager.

“Everyone is back to their level, Paul, Marcus [Rashford], me when I get playing time I try and make as big an impact as possible, Anthony [Martial], everyone. They want to take their opportunity and during matches we know that each player knows that the most important thing is the team and we know that it is that attitude that will take us to the top.”
Pogba struggled to play with consistency under Mourinho during the first half of the campaign but that has changed under Ole, who has offered him a free role from the centre of the park. In the 10 matches under the Norwegian, Pogba has unquestionably been the standout and he has contributed six goals and five assists to the team’s cause.
Meanwhile, Lukaku has likewise found his scoring form with Ole at the helm but he has not managed to command a regular starting role with Marcus Rashford outclassing him with the scoring exploits of late. The young Englishman has netted six goals from the eight league games under the interim head coach.
