Paul Pogba backs Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the Manchester United job

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has backed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for the permanent head coach role following the club’s 2-0 triumph at Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round. The Red Devils had recently suffered their maiden defeat of the year against Paris Saint-Germain but they made amends with a resolute performance on both ends of the field.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Pogba spoke about the winning spirit within the United ranks and stated that the team are fully behind Ole, who has been touted for the permanent managerial role after transforming the club’s fortunes, he said: “We play to win trophies. He came to do this job because obviously he can do it. He trusts us and we trust him.”
